Refund Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains when payments made through DaktarPro for in-person consultations and telemedicine video sessions are refundable.
Payments are generally non-refundable
Once a consultation or telemedicine session is paid for, the amount is non-refundable — unless the treating doctor explicitly approves a refund for that booking.
In-person consultations
Fees paid for chamber appointments are collected to secure your slot and compensate the doctor for the reserved time. If you are unable to attend, the consultation fee is non-refundable by default.
If the appointment is cancelled by the doctor's chamber or if exceptional circumstances arise, the doctor may choose to issue a refund at their sole discretion.
Telemedicine video consultations
Telemedicine session fees are charged before the video call begins. Once the payment is processed the amount is non-refundable, including cases where:
- You join late or miss the scheduled session window.
- The call is disconnected due to your internet connection.
- You choose not to proceed after payment.
If the session cannot be completed due to a technical issue on the platform's side, or if the doctor is unavailable at the scheduled time, a refund or rescheduling will be arranged.
Doctor-initiated refunds
Refunds are only issued when the treating doctor explicitly approves the request. If you believe a refund is warranted, please contact the doctor's chamber directly or reach out to us through the Contact Us page with your booking reference. We will coordinate with the doctor on your behalf.
Processing time
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days and returned to the original payment method. The exact timeline may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
